In their attempt to cut the bad out of their lives, people cut out all the joy as well. Every time they are presented with an opportunity, they call it a “problem” and instead of looking for a solution, they look to shove it under their bed and wait for it to go away.

Do your job diligently and to the very end, don’t cut any corners, don’t look for shortcuts and have the courage to advance when others tell you to flee. Hold your ground and retreat only when you are moving to a better position.
